Online Events Marketing Manager
Salary from £37,197 to £44,802 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £48,168 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for 6 months
The Communications Division strategically coordinates internal and external communications and advises the School on appropriate ways to communicate to its various audiences. The Communications teams work together to increase the impact of LSE and its work on the outside world, to the benefit of the whole LSE community.
This new role would be dedicated to the promotion of our global public lecture programme and for the coordination of supporting content that we can offer to alumni, students, friends, and supporters, and/or disseminate more widely. The postholder will play an important role on the new online events platform which is being trialled in the next academic year.
This is an integral role working with a wide range of colleagues. You will need to have:
- A proven ability to successfully manage projects to a desired outcome, within budget and deadlines.
- Experience managing a major project including strategy, planning and evaluation.
- The ability to think creatively and bring new ideas which meet the changing needs of the organisation and its members.
- The ability to convey and present information in a meaningful and appropriate manner.
- Be able to motivate a team including adaption to changing circumstances (deliverables, technology, regulations, etc).
